During times of disaster, language translators are needed to assist non-English speaking evacuees at Points of Distribution, shelters, walk-in kitchens, and other service sites. Churches with bilingual parishioners fluent in English and one or more other languages can fill a niche ministry during disaster response and long-term recovery.
